Back in 1996, Metalcool began as an approved distributor of both the full range of metal cutting tools including inserts, end mills, tool holders, drills and related products from Izar and Korloy, and the full range of coolants and relevant equipments for Master Chemical, U.S.A. Shortly after, Metalcool included Kennametal cutting tools to its distributorship.

Recognizing that every customer has their individual needs, the company revamped its image from being solely a distributor, to being a company dedicated in tailoring its services to the customer's requests. Metalcool expanded its operations to also include the design and construction of customized coolant equipments like sump suckers, oil skimmers, liquid vacs and liquid proportioners, and is now an approved vendor to several large MNCs in the aerospace, oil & gas, and semi-conductor industry. A recent addition to the line of products offered, Metalcool Pte Ltd has started their own line of metal cutting tools 'Ezi-Cut, together with tool reconditioning services added to their line up. Since 2011, Metalcool has acquired 2 machines from Walter Maschinenbau GmbH, Germany.
